Our latest addition to the “Live! From Eugene” series features over 50lb/barrel of fresh apricot and tangerine suspended in a light and drinkable sour ale. With notes of banana, bubblegum, and clove, this fermentation-forward beer is soft on the palate with copious amounts of wheat malt and just the subtlest hint of noble hop character. As per our usual standard, we utilized German ingredients to recreate this popular Bavarian-style ale. The cloud of foam that rests atop a tall glass of Hefeweizen is the perfect visual preview for the velvety ale beneath. This refreshing, yet full-bodied IPA takes its own direction and the result is magnetizing. Charged with Talus, Mosaic, Citra and Columbus ,this hazy IPA highlights a captivating array of fruity and herbal notes including pink grapefruit, citrus rind, dried roses, sage, pine, and lightly accented tropical fruit. Ion is an innovative addition to the ever-evolving IPA continuum. Old school hops meet newer, juicy, tropical varieties in the delicious, refreshing homage to our roots. The Kite String IPA is our tribute to all that is beautiful with the West Coast IPA. Appropriate for this beautiful weather and perfect for the moment.
